Great story, the problem is just as the first book is, terrible proofreading. I hate to have to stop reading so I can try and figure out the mistakes in proofreading, misspelled words and grammerical errors throughout. They need to hire someone who will read the book, and point out the mistakes BEFORE it goes into print. One or 2 is not an issue, but so far, book 1 is loaded with them, and book 2, missing mage has a fair share as well, and I'm not even 1/2 way through it yet. Expect more from a book, author, publisher, and proofreaders then one we pay for that is loaded with mistakes. I feel sorry for any narrator who has to read the mistakes, as it would make them seem the fool and mess up their reputation as a respectable narrator.
This is the second book in the series and I love the way it picked right up where the first stopped. You can tell in most story lines where one book stops and the next begins there is an amount of time between them. I love that these pick right up with the last. I hope the next is the same. If it is the auther had one great story to tell!
As are characters delve into the unknown of another spine tingling adventure that takes them off to farther places,they truly do find out just how dangerous magic can be,excellent take off for our second story.
I found this book to be incredibly slow. The best part about it was seeing the duke come slightly back into power. Ava is basically the same except now she's more manipulative and can do magic. The little adventure in the jungle basically lasted 5 minutes. Boo.
Second good entertaining read. Blooming magical strength and a fighters experience make a great story. Thanks for the adventure. On to the next in the series.
Looking forward to the next book. Good balance of character development and action. Suitable for all age of readers. Like writer's style.
I bought this book by mistake. I thought it was book 4. I would like to get a refund and buy book 4 if possible. Thank you very much. I previously bought all 3 of the books as a trilogy. The book took me to this link at the end for the next book in the series.
